And here it is... the first serious attempt at an action sequence. It's not groundbreaking or tremendous... indeed, while I was working on this I actually felt it was too riddled with problems to be presentable. However, once I got it finished, I'm actually pretty happy with it. There's lots to improve on, of course, but it seems to work pretty well.
