I had some trouble with this page... mainly because I had two ideas that sounded really good together in my head, but once I got it on paper, I realized it lead to something I definitely didn't want.

I knew I needed one more page to show Sharon's departure, as she wasn't the type to give up without raising a considerable snit. I decided of course, that Alex should eventually offer a stern enough "get out" to actually make her leave. Then it occurred to me that this would be a great opportunity to show a nifty plot point about Alex, so I worked in there. What I didn't consider before drawing the whole strip is that Sharon is not supposed to know anything is odd about Alex.

A major oversight really, I was pondering how to deal with this... redraw the strip, do something odd with the dialogue... logically if Sharon is directly in front of Alex, she wouldn't see the wings or tail, but the way I drew it, I knew that no one would see that.

It took me a bit of thought, but I decided to use the same art and suggest Sharon's logically dismissal of Alex's short term change as a hallucination. It's not perfect, but it's functional.
